OUR STORY

The Duke of Oz opened her doors in September 2009, The Australian themed sports pub owned by Marco & Paul, a Dutchman and an Australian with the dream to have something of their own and the knowledge to make it the best!  

Focusing on the Pub side of life, creating an environment for everyone to feel at home, basically creating an additional “Living Room” for all our guests. Drinking beer and watching sport on numerous screens hung around the pub is the general idea.

A few years down the line, the Duke of Oz is now known by many, far and wide, as the premier sports bar in Leiden and surrounds!  Known for its friendly service, easy going environment & the tons of sport on its screens.

The Duke has an inordinate number of screens, showing whatever it is you're after. With just one rule, if it's on, it's on, and if it's not when you arrive... ask.

The Duke is truly an International pub, no matter what the time, day or week, you will find yourself surrounded by many nationalities, all of whom with the same agenda, enjoying a beer and a bit of banter.
